HOW TO DREAM THE DREAM OF EACH OTHER (2017)

This is a performance lecture to address our inability to imagine social and political alternatives in a time that is mostly characterised by ‘no alternative’. This is an attempt to refer to our common present and future.

Is it true that it is now easier for us to imagine the end of Earth being hit by a comet than imagining an alternative to capitalism? Why does an old man read The Little Prince in the morning busy tram? How can we create visions for our social coexistence today? What did Betty Murano expect to find in space? Where did Athenians find democracy? How to Dream the Dream of Each Other?

This is a dark invitation to coproduce light.
